Your father, KWP

This is about the sec 2 NYAA camp a long time ago (mostly from Beijing group's story). hope it brings back your memories. (Note: this is a brief translation from my chinese 周记)

The first day, we were greeted by our facilitator, Eunice. We were then brought to our dorm, where we sleep. We put down our bags and were taken for a tour around the campsite. Then we gathered and sat in a circle on the grass. We played "Ouch" (The game of this name lol). After that, we had to write what we are and what we aren't on a piece of A3 paper. I forgot what we wrote, though... Then, we went back to our beds to get our plates, spoons, forks and cups. We had to cook our own lunch. We were provided with 2 packets of sausages, 21(wow) eggs, a LOT of veggies and 4 cans of sardine. We split our work (and turned out that i did nothing) and finished the meal. A lot of people feel that it was bad, but i thought it was quite good. Then, we worked together to wash our equipment. After some free time, we went to the hall and played games. We also learnt and sang "Father Ibraham". Then, we discussed about the expedition that was going to take place on the next day. We then played some more games, and discussed some more. Then it was dinner time. After dinner, we discussed about the expedition again. Then came bathing time. Because we finished discussing later than other classes, our bath time was later as well. I decided not to bath, but later regretted it (walao down there so itchy). After that, we were assembled at the road near the basketball court and the A3 paper that we wrote on earlier in the day was given to yifei. Then we went to sleep. (After pillow with 2/2). At around 3, yeejian and songlin came to look at my watch. I was awoken by that, so i went to the toilet with them. After that, i couldn't fall asleep anymore.

The next day, we started the day with a pillow fight (so fun). Soon after, we took our cutlery and went to the basketball court(?). We did warm-ups there, then ate breakfast (I remember telling Eunice that I would be more energetic after breakfast, but turned out i didn't). We then gathered and left.(Vincent and Shafiq were the only 2 allowed to take their handphones, dammit) We first went to King's Avenue, we took a photo and then ate some snacks... energy bars, i think. We drank some water then we went to Sembawang CC. We took a photo at its entrance (hope we didn't block anyone), then walked up the grass patch. There, we discussed about what we wanted to do for the skid at night. We went to a coffee shop to buy lunch and refill water. I ordered a $2 fishball noodle, before Ms. Kokila said she would treat us. If i had known earlier, i would have went for the $3 one... My bottle was too damn big for the tap, so Eunice used her water bottle to fill mine. We then continued walking to Yishun Park, where we ate the lunch we tookaway. After that, we played a game where we had to minimize the number of legs that were in contact with the ground. As we are geniuses, we managed to have only 10 feet touching the floor out of the 38 that we had. We continued our journey. At the fire station, Joey wanted to piss, so everyone decided that they wanted to piss too. But the handsome guy at the fire station said that 1. He couldn't let so many people in, and 2. There was only a male toilet. So, we went around to look for a toilet instead. During the journey, dunno why guanghan was drinking water then he dunno why spit on JooYee's face LOL. After a long walk, we got to a temple, where we took turns to settle our "business". We refilled our bottles again. It was a long walk before the next checkpoint. Yeejian and Songlin would run towards a bench with an "Olympic Torch" when they see one then sit down and wait for us. Vincent, Chunglok, Joey, Maisarah and Rashida (the mascots) were cheering for beijing in 5 languages (English, Chinese, Malay, Tamil and Japanese). When we finally reached the last bench, we saw some chinese words carved on a tree saying 中秋节 命中注定我恨你. (Mid-Autumn Festival. It is destiny that I hate you). We rested there for a while, then continued on to Bottletree Village, where we took another photo and rested for a while. As we departed, we could see the other 2/1 group (shit i forgot their name). On the way to Sembawang Park, there was some creature with a thread, its thread was stuck to my arm, and i pretended i was levitating it. At Sembawang Park, we ran like crazy towards the playground. People were snatching to play with the swing. Yeejian suggested that we play blind mice. There, we took another photo and played for a while before that other group came. Together as a class, we played Moonball, in which we had to hit the ball as many times as we could before it touches the ground. The first few tries, we could only do up to 20++. Then, all of a sudden, we managed to do 55 hits. After that, we split into 2 groups again, to discuss the skit. After discussion, we headed back to camp, taking the King's Avenue way. On the way, there was someone spraying large amounts of insecticide, and we could not see. After running through all that smoke, we could see day again. When we were almost reaching the camp, we ran and shouted and screamed. After we got in, we bathed and rested for quite long. We then ate dinner, and i went to poop. after i settled my business, i found out that beijing was already assembled at the basketball court. Together we, rehearsed our skit. After awhile, all the classes were assembled at the grass patch outside the girls' dorm. The campfire then started (not very friendly to the environment, i must say). We started performing (my role was to throw a sock and chase the referee off the set), followed by others. After all the performances, Mr Tay took the mic and announced that there would be a bag inspection due to a lot of items lost by students (underwear, toothpaste etcetc). During the inspection, many people found things that did not belong to them. As we were the last class to be checked, added on to the fact that it was Friday the 13th, people started to tell ghost stories. (I want to go HOME!) Kingyan and Joey Tay cried lols. After a lot of stories, we were finally inspected. After inspection, we went to sleep.

The Last Day. KaiXiang woke me up at 6.30, we brushed our teeth, ate breakfast, gathered at the hall, played games, wrote reflections, wrote good things about each other (some were really hard to find something to write down), and got ready to depart from school. On the bus, we could see Eunice crying.
